I met a diamond in the rough; it was deeply clenched by the
hand of a hard rock and had other rock-like stains plastered on it. As soon as my
eyes fell onto it my heart too fell for it; for I realized the purity that lies
within it, Now engrossed with passion and fuelled by determination, eager I am
to sculpt the diamond and make it pure and polish it to its fullest potential.
Alas, sadly and unfortunately the stubborn rock that clasped it thought it was
the possessor of the diamond and clasped it even more tightly. The rock then
said, “you’re not good enough to even lay eyes one the diamond!” Ignoring the rock’s cry, I tried to get the
diamond away from the rock, though every time I do so I get pushed backwards violently
by the rock. Now the diamond too is confounded by the rock that has been
clenching it ever since it knew life. The diamond now perplexed and uncertain.
