Consistency in Minus

We live thinking we are the focal point,

Your naturally say, ‘The universe revolves around me!’

‘Everybody so precariously observing me,

Their eyes are all transfixed on every deeds of mine.’

You’re then forgotten immediately,

When death approaches without announcing it,

Innately born with self importance,

Expected from us is selflessness

What have you learned, What have you gained?

Your mortality proves nothing but ignominy,

Influenced and dependent on too many things,

Limited in thinking, speaking, and anything

Idiocy, sadness and malingers,

You sulk in depression, not like you envisioned?

Surprise, surprise when will he rise?

Empathy towards the one who self pity’s

The place that signifies horror and dread,

That signifies pain and also the dead,

Weak and powerless, Alone and insecure,

Absurd, absurd, who am I observing?

For he worries not lying on deathbed,

But if it takes you first,

All that rotates will come to halt,

The mind, the blood all stops flowing

Life seems to fade and we come to fret,

The pillar now broken,

The ground starts to shatter,

I foresee a dead man walking

Embezzlement!

Little by little, the good things fade away,

All that is left are the degenerates,

They continue to see the self as the focal point
